Wakami Global
Handwoven bracelets and necklaces are made in underserved communities of Guatemala and Mexico by women in small cooperative Fair Trade workshops. Facilitation of weaving workshops by Wakami. Charms, fulfillment, and distribution are provided by Far Fetched. Design and product development executed by me at Fig Design.
Nuevo Taxco
Collaborated with students and professors at the University of Mexico City (CEPE-Taxco) to design and hand fabricate contemporary interpretations of traditional Taxco jewelry motifs and themes. Provided lectures and training on trend forecasting, fashion branding, product development, and supply chain management. Jewelry is handmade in Fair Trade workshops with the students in Mexico and sold through Greater Good.
