I am an artist, designer, and playful thing-maker.
I am passionate about good design and creating beautiful things. The artist in me loves the process of making; the meditative, creative, flow state. The designer in me thrives in collaboration, problem-solving, technical challenges, and end product.
Jewelry design is a graceful integration of both art and design into something functional and beautiful. Little chunks of art imbued with memory, a story, or emotion; an expression of who we are in the world. It brings me so much joy to know that something I helped create brings pleasure and happiness.
When I am not designing, I am digging in my garden, sculpting weird little pods, plotting my next trip, cooking for everybody, dancing with my sweetheart, or playing with my giant puppy.
